Would you give up R 700 a year to sponsor a child’s life and future? Lets unite friends

How much more than R 700 do we spend on extravagant items/activities and silly items we don’t need every month???

Well…. that R 700 could go towards sponsoring a child’s education, healthcare, food and warmth for an ENTIRE YEAR

There is no trust more sacred than the one the world holds with children. There is no duty more important than ensuring that their rights are respected, that their welfare is protected, that their lives are free from fear and want and that they can grow up in peace.”

— Kofi Annan

“You will find, as you look back on your life, that the moments that stand out
are the moments when you have done things for others.” – Henry Drummond

I would love to start a charity initiative and get it going ASAP. Seen as though I have the resources at home i.e. my sisters jewelry studio… I had a thought (yes blondes have these moments) and decided that making a beautiful bracelet/ring in guys or girls style see images below would help my cause…… by employing someone who is in need of a job and teaching them how to make these items…. The disc on the bracelet or cord would be engraved with the name of the child you have sponsored or  the ring if you would prefer….

I would love to get a viral campaign going…..” A silver bracelet makes for a golden smile”   and if any of you have ever seen a child with nothing get given a loaf of bread you will know what that smile does to your heart and their lives……

Please let me know how many of you would like to get involved in the initiative and how many of you would purchase the bracelet which taking into account all costs would be less then half of us spend on a day shopping, a night out, a concert ticket etc….

I am so desperate to help these little ones and cannot do it alone. We all need to stand together and show we care about the future of babies who are orphaned or children whose parents cannot afford to give them a glass of milk.

Lets make that difference guys….. and there is no time like the present.

“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change
the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.”

Chimp becomes surrogate mom & playmate to white Tigers

For my love of animals and the things they do which constantly amaze me.

When hurricane Hannah separated two white tigers from their mother, Anjana came to the Rescue.
Anjana, a chimp at TIGERS in South Carolina, became surrogate mom and playmate to the cubs, even helping with bottle feeding, according to The Sun.But here’s the truly amazing part:This is something Anjana does all the time,
having helped raised leopard and lion cubs on several occasions. These pics are truly gorgeous.
